THE PAINTING PROCESS

Walter’s preferred method is to have the subject sit for a portrait,

but you can have a painting done from photographs

COMMISSIONING PROCEDURE

Walter will discuss the portrait that you have in mind via e-mail or telephone.
You will have to consider what clothing, location, and poses you’d like to use.

After these decisions are made, the final composition and price of the portrait will

be determined, and a written agreement signed.

PRICING AND PAYMENT
Portrait prices depend upon four factors:
Size of the painting;
The portion of the subject that is painted;
Complexity of the clothing and accessories;
Complexity of the background.

One half of the final price is due at the first sitting.
The balance is due when the painting is finished and before shipping.
Price does not include shipping or frame.
